The Unexpected Arrival
It was late night, I had completed my work and was returning back home. As I was already late, I decided to have food from a close by Indian restaurant. I started to search for a good Indian restaurant near by and my car gps tracked it down in a couple of seconds. It was a mile away and was named zaika restro near blandford street. It took me around 10 mins to reach the place and park my car.
As I entered the restaurant, I booked a table near the entrance and it had a clear view of the streets, the streets were covered in snow and the snow was glittering under the street lights. The restaurant I was in was completely different from other restaurants in UK. The interior was designed with glass and crystals and the food here was marvelous. It had been years since I had some good Indian food. It was almost 24: 00 when the waiter took my order. On the other hand, all my friends were enjoying their glass of wines in pubs and some were travelling around the places exploring themselves.
My food had arrived and it smelled yummy. I took out my jacket and blazer and kept it on the other side so that I could enjoy my food comfortably. I took the spoon in my hand and was preparing myself to start my dine. Suddenly there were loud noises outside and everyone were bursting out with laughter listening to the lame jokes cracked by a guy in that group. But there was this one voice of a girl who was trying to silence everyone but at the end even she burst out in laughter. The noise oh her was irritating the customers but I don't know why I felt it familiar. I tried to have a closer look outside but the heavy snow fall covered the glass and left with droplets of water all over the glass. Later I saw them entering the restaurant and I continued enjoying my meal.
The group entered the restaurant and occupied the opposite table to the right, I finished my dinner and asked the waiter to get the bill. I took out my wallet and paid the bill and handed the amount to the waiter. Suddenly I heard the familiar girls voice yelling "waiter". She looks at me and I turned my face to her. I saw her.she had grown much more prettier than before . After years I had seen her again, the same face, the same voice, nothing had changed. There was a deep silence and it was killing me within. I took my blazer and my jacket and rushed to the car. Her sparking hazel eyes were still trying to stop me . her head was filled with a number of questions. The silence continued and I was back home.
